Summer Hours, Brighter Days: Supporting Our Staff

As the summer season begins, so does a small but meaningful shift at DGCKids—our updated summer hours! Starting this week, the Center will be open:

Monday–Thursday: 8 am to 5 pm
Friday: 8 am to 11:30 am

This seasonal schedule gives our dedicated team a little extra breathing room heading into the weekend—time to recharge, care for their own families, and return refreshed and ready to serve the children and families at the heart of our mission.

At DGCKids, we know that when our staff are supported, our work is stronger. The flexibility of summer hours helps us maintain a healthy, balanced work environment while continuing to provide consistent, high-quality services to children who are blind or visually impaired.

Whether it’s early intervention, family support, youth activities, or vision screenings, every moment we’re here is focused on connection, growth, and joy, and summer hours help us do it all with renewed energy.

Wishing you a wonderful summer filled with sunshine and discovery!
