Delta Gamma Center Receives Service for Sight Grant from Delta Gamma Foundation

Announcement Press Release

At DGCKids, we are incredibly grateful to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Delta Gamma Foundation’s Service for Sight Grant! This generous support strengthens our mission to empower children with visual impairments and their families, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Delta Gamma’s Service for Sight philanthropy has been making an extraordinary impact since its founding in 1936, when Ruth Billow, a member of Delta Gamma who was blind, inspired the organization to adopt “Aid to the Blind” as their official philanthropy. Today, Service for Sight encompasses a network of organizations, including the five schools founded by Delta Gammas and others across North America, united by a commitment to advocacy and access.

As a part of this visionary initiative, DGCKids joins an incredible group of recipients working tirelessly to support individuals in the blind and visually impaired community. This grant will allow us to continue providing critical programs and services, from early intervention to family support, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

We encourage you to learn more about the Delta Gamma Foundation’s impact and view the latest list of Service for Sight Grant recipients by checking out their annual impact report.

Thank you, Delta Gamma Foundation, for your unwavering support and dedication to this cause. Together, we are lighting the way for brighter futures!
