Seizures can have a profound impact upon a child’s development and upon the child’s family. They can be subtle and difficult to detect or severe, even life-threatening. In this seminar, Dr. Burris will describe different types of seizures, talk about medications commonly used to control them, explain other treatment options, and answer questions about what to do if a child has a seizure while in your care.

Garrett Burris, MDis a well respected Pediatric Neurologist in the St. Louis community. He holds board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology. He was listed in St. Louis Magazine Best Doctors of 2008 and has been a member of the Delta Gamma Centers Professional Advisory Committee for more than 15 years. Dr. Burris’ individual interests include Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
