DELTA GAMMA CENTER FOR CHILDREN WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

NAMES NEW DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

ST. LOUIS — DECEMBER 6TH, 2007 — Communications and development professional Muriel Smith has been named Development Director for St. Louis-based Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. Smith will be supported by Mona Monteleone, who has been appointed to a full-time position as Development Associate for the Delta Gamma Center.

"I'm excited by the experience and energy that Muriel and Mona bring to the Delta Gamma Center team. We have many wonderful initiatives targeted for the coming years and will need every ounce of their talent," says Debbie Naucke, Executive Director for the Delta Gamma Center.

As Development Director, Smith will lead a broad-based marketing effort aimed at significantly increasing donor and volunteer support, and will function as Special Events Coordinator for the Delta Gamma Center. Smith has a degree in Communications Management from Southwest Missouri State University, and has most recently served as Special Events Coordinator for Lutheran Family and Children's Services Foundation.

As Development Associate, Monteleone will support marketing and event initiatives in addition to special campaign development. Monteleone has a degree in Communications and Marketing from Saint Louis University. Prior to her full-time appointment, Monteleone provided development support to the Delta Gamma Center on a part-time basis.
