• In Celebration of Grandparenting
This book is the result of listening and learning about the joys
and frustrations of being the grandparent of a child with visual
impairments, who may have additional disabilities. It can comfort,
reassure and answer some questions for those who are starting the
journey. Above all, it demonstrates that a grandchild with a disability
is really not that different from a typical grandchild. All have
their special qualities to be treasured and shared. Now available

• MISSION: Transition This is a board game that teaches people
about moving from early intervention services to early childhood
special education services. It was inspired by parents facing this
transition with their children, and is complete with a folding board,
game cards and pieces. It is a fun, easy way to help parents and
professionals understand the transition process, special education
law, and the importance of the Individualized Education Plan.
Players start on the early intervention square and must answer question
cards before rolling the dice to progress towards early childhood
special education services.
The questions are based on those actually asked by parents who were
going through this process. A complete answer key is provided and
practical tips for a smooth transition are shared.
