Who We Serve
The emotional support and professional expertise
of the staff at the Center means the world to us.
Coming here is as comforting as coming home.”
At the Delta Gamma Center, we want children with visual impairments,
including those with additional disabilities, to learn and develop
to the best of their abilities. To accomplish this goal, we offer
a range of services to them, their family members, and to other
people who touch their lives. We welcome referrals from all sources.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for our services, we require a statement from an
ophthalmologist, or other doctor, indicating that a child has a
visual impairment that could impact his or her learning and development.

Service Area:
To receive services in their home or community, a family must live
within a 50-mile radius of the Center – this includes parts
of Missouri and parts of Illinois.

Ages of Children Served:
We provide a full range of services as needed to eligible children
from infancy to age three, including vision services, developmental
therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, orientation
and mobility training, and family support services. We also provide
support services to children ages three through high school and
to their families.
