About Us

Mission

The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments is committed to helping children who are blind or visually impaired reach their full potential through individualized education and therapy services for infants (birth to three years) and their parents and through support services for children of all ages, their families and the community.

Core Principles

We believe that family support and well-being are key to the successful development of each child who is blind or visually impaired.

  • We believe that all children can succeed.
  • We believe that early intervention and specialized services are essential to address the unique learning needs of children with visual impairments or blindness.
  • We believe that all children who are visually impaired and blind and their families should have access to services.
  • We believe that a dedicated and qualified staff and volunteers are necessary for fulfilling our mission.
  • We believe that we should promote education and awareness about visual impairments to the community.
  • We believe that we should provide a network of support among children, their families, and the community.
